Yes and as I was unloading the laundry during a break in the heat yesterday, I recalled “feeling the feelings” I felt the last time I wore each outfit. Until, I realized what if – reliving these fun memories again and again mean we’ll keep having the same kind of conversations in the future? So I stopped and replaced those conversation memories with a quote I saw today about every thought going out to the collective. Is that why karma zaps me so quick like no one else? Like maybe, the conversation when our teenage babysitter’s son snuck us into his friend’s lakeside home, with vaulted ceilings and cool air conditioning, to see the pet raccoon really did get me here now?! I made some innocent 5 – 6-year-old statement about when I grow up, I’ll enjoy every day in my lake home! Of course, naysayers surrounding me said, you’ll be working your ass off at 55 and nowhere near tropical islands!! ~ touché Juliette
